About Rebecca

Rebecca has a wealth of experience as a pianist, singer, piano teacher, voice teacher, and vocal coach.  She began her love for piano at the age of 6, playing and winning a variety of talent shows during her youth.  She put herself through college playing and singing at a variety of venues.  After receiving a Bachelors in Music, she spent a number of years on the road playing across the US and throughout the Caribbean. Following her time on the road, Rebecca focused on working with others in both piano and voice instruction. This included amateurs and choral groups, as well as helping her students gain a variety of professional gigs over the years.    Among her many professional students, Rebecca worked with the Janet Jackson and the Jackson Five in their debut at the Vegas MGM.  

Rebecca believes that every individual has their own musical goal –whether it’s playing local gigs, working with a band, trying out for a theater production, or playing for themselves and their friends.  Rebecca has helped people with a love of music find their path.  Rebecca sees herself as taking her years of experience and knowledge and helping others with the fundamental tools necessary to get to where they want to go with their music.  As Rebecca says, 'Over the years I have found there is no one way to teach.  Each student has their own goals, desires, and unique abilities, which help to define how they learn best. Understanding that and structuring my lessons based on that understanding is how I teach'.
